About This Event
Your home for 7 days is a luxury, warm and welcoming chalet offering ample space to relax and unwind after enjoying the great outdoors or to just snuggle-up near the fireplace with a good book. Communal areas share a large dining space, lounge with open fire place, several reading rooms, large ski room with boot warmers, massage room, sauna and an outdoor hot tub.
The retreat chalet, nestled in the heart of St Gervaisles-Bains, is the perfect place to relax and enjoy stunning alpine scenery sheltered by the mighty Mont Blanc while also gaining access to world-class skiing domain of Evasion Mt Blanc, the third largest in France.

09:30 – 16:30 - Free time...Group transport will be provided to & from the slopes. For non-skiers, St Gervais offers great cross-country skiing or snowshoeing. If you feel like exploring the area, you could take a day trip to nearby Megève or Chamonix. And if you simply feel like unwinding, St Gervais offers spa facilities or you may want to simply unwind near the fireplace with a book followed by a hot tub session overlooking the Mont Blanc!

*The closest airport is Geneva, from here you will take a transfer by road for 1 hour to the Chalet. Please note transfers will leave the airport at 3pm on the 19th of march. If your travel plans are outside of these times please arrange your own airport transfer. Not included Flights, skiing equipment / pass, travel / sports insurance, lunch, massage (by appointment) extra activities (spa day, day trips, etc.)
Olivia Fournier will be your yoga teacher for the week. With foundations in Ashtanga yoga, Olivia’s vinyasa flow sessions are focused on alignment and geared to get you out of your head and into your body & breath. She also enjoys taking her students on the restorative journey of Yin combined with mediation and yoga Nidra for a full relaxation experience. “As an ex-national level skier, the mountains have always been a great nurturing source for both my body and mind. Combining yoga, skiing and nourishing food feels like a combination made in heaven and I can’t wait to share it with you”

How do I pay for the retreat?
You will need to pay by bank transfer. Please use the enquiry box to contact us and we will email you once you get in touch. If you are based outside of the UK, we can recommend the best payment options for you also.
How can I benefit from the large room rate?
The large room rate is available for groups of 3 or 4 that book at the same time. Rooms for 3 will include 3 beds and rooms for 4 will include 2 beds and 2 bunk beds
At what time is the group transfer to & from the airport?
Group transfer will leave Geneva airport at 15h on 19th March, please email us for a list of recommended flights or use Kayak.com. Should you miss this time or decide to come to the chalet by your own means, we’d be happy to recommend a taxi company or best route. Return group transfer will leave the chalet on March 25th at 9h30
Is this retreat suitable for yoga beginners?
Sessions led by Olivia are open to all. Options will be provided for both beginners and more advanced yogis.
Will I have access to internet?
The chalet is equipped with wifi
What to bring?
Casual gear for lazing around the chalet, ski outfit, clothes for yoga, swimsuit for hot tub/sauna , yoga mat, sunscreen, mountain/skiing equipment
How can I hire skiing/snowboarding equipment in St Gervais?
On March 19th, arrival day, your hosts will arrange an appointment for the group to get their equipment
At what time is the daily transport to the slopes?
Transfers to the closest ski left will depart from the chalet between 9:30 – 10am
What if I want to stay on the slopes longer?
It is your holiday so feel free to plan your day as you wish. Just let your hosts know so that they don’t worry unnecessarily.
Will you also be teaching us how to ski?
For ski / snowboarding lessons, we recommend you book sessions with the Ecole du Ski Francais (ESF)
Do you cater to food allergies?
Kimberly will be happy to cater to any food allergies or intolerances. Please email prior to the retreat with your dietary needs
Your host and chef, Kimberly Parsons is the owner and founder of The Retreat Cafés, which offer health conscious vegetarian food at yoga studios in London. She also practices as a naturopath in London, runs yoga retreats around the world. Kimberly is a trained naturopath and chef and all her recipes are focused on holistic health. “Watching Kim in the kitchen on one of her many yoga retreats is pure magic. Her attention to detail, knowledge and passion ooze from her hands into the food and it is such a delight to be able to experience a truly passionate woman at play in her playground” (Charlotte Hilton, Menorca retreat 2015) All the food for the week will be vegetarian and all lovingly made from real ingredients. Recipes will be taken from 'The Yoga Kitchen' recipe book which Kimberly wrote and released in May 2016. A 3 course breakfast and dinner will be provided each day as well as afternoon snacks to fuel you up from a big day on the slopes.
