London’s Heathrow Airport has become the latest hub to offer stressed out travelers a new way to take the stress out of flying with the launch of a new yoga studio.This yoga while travelling is a new yoga pilot project, the first of its kind, has opened in the Exclusive SkyTeam Lounge at London Heathrow Terminal 4. For the next two months customers flying from London Heathrow on any of the 13 member airlines serving the airport will be able to access the studio. which will be equipped with yoga mats and a video showing a series of easy-to-follow sequence.The SkyTeam explained they believe yoga is renowned for improving the mind and body through its focus on stretching and breathing, making it perfect for some pre-flight fitness. The programme is aimed at helping travelers zen out before boarding their plane and being confined to their seats for hours on end.The pilot yoga studio builds on SkyTeam’s existing relaxing facilities at Heathrow, which include: a wellness centre offering a wide range of complimentary spa treatments; an oxygen bar for a pre-departure energy boost; and massage chairs.Heathrow joins airports in Helsinki, San Francisco, Dallas Forth Worth and Chicago in offering a yoga Member airlines that fly out of Heathrow include Delta, Air France, KLM, Korean Air and China Eastern.For more information:www.skyteam.com*SkyTeam’s yoga facility will operate for a limited period only.
